Real-World Reference

Recently, social media creators hit a block as TikTok has had system issues for multiple days. This same problem had come up on many different occasions during the process of TikTok potentially being banned in the United States. Due to this, the editing software CapCut, which is owned by the same company as TikTok, also experience issue or the threat of being banned. CapCut is a free editing software, despite the insistent paywall features in recent months, but many people still use it. The app is on computers and phones, plus it is generally easy to learn and use because of the amount of templates they provide. When CapCut and TikTok experience issues, many people I know won’t be able to edit their videos. I, for one, use CapCut for smaller projects, as I have found more suitable alternatives for what I produce. However, for the editors who aren’t aware of alternatives and need to meet work deadlines, spreading knowledge about other software could save people time.
