Avid Media Composer is the industry standard for video editing software that is used in film and TV productions. Despite it being expensive and tricky to learn, the software is essential for being able to edit weeks of footage that comes from a huge production.
New Netflix Office
One of the major giants in the film industry, Netflix, opened up another production location in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Along with their offices in all parts of the world, Netflix is looking to continue their expansion across South America in potentially making a local film in those areas, which could also help foreigners in learning that culture.
Brands Cutting Video Production Time
Currently brands are changing their timeframes for workflow from weeks to hours, as they do not want to keep themselves waiting to put their videos out. Some companies are turning to AI generators like Adobe Firefly, Grok, ChatGPT, and Google Veo in attempt to adapt to current technological advances.
Disney Retracts AI Investment
In a similar topic to OpenAI shutting down their Sora AI video generation app, Disney would decide to pull out of their $1 billion 3-year investment. They had their own reasons as OpenAI decided to shift away from video generation, but the concept of a company as globally known as Disney licensing their characters for AI, it does raise concerns for the future.
Sora AI Shutdown
Sora AI was one of the most controversial video production sites created with the use of Artificial Intelligence. Many people voiced ethical concerns with data centers, copyright, or taking work away from original artists. Recently, OpenAI had to shut down the video app because of growing economic concerns, which made many people either rejoice or question the future of AI generation.
Most Important Piece
The most important piece of the new WordPress site includes the Otter Blocks plugin. It wasn’t required but I found it necessary in order to create the most appealing possible website.
Additional Picks
Along with the plugins I was predisposed to from my prior website, I had to make additional picks for the new endeavor. Using 3 new plugins like Duplicate Page, Elementor, and WP File Manager, I can make a more visually appealing and accessible website for everybody involved.
